Forme Development is a Vancouver based real estate company with a selective portfolio of projects in the US and Greater Vancouver.

As a boutique development company, we believe that each project should contribute and support its greater community.

Each site is approached with a study of its location to provide a building that will enhance its inhabitants and neighbourhood.

The mandate of Forme is that value is more than financial - it's personal, moral and aesthetic.

The company is currently developing quality projects which include mixed use residential towers in Los Angeles, low-rise multi-family housing in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley and a major hospitality project for Downtown Vancouver.

Forme's president and CEO, Damon Chan holds over 25 years experience in land acquisition, entitlement, design, project development and project management.

Prior to the creation of Forme Development, he was a development manager and director of acquisitions for over a decade at Westbank Projects.

***: Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking an individual with exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to oversee our high-rise developments in the US and Vancouver. Experience in the design and construction of high-rise concrete buildings and hospitality projects are an asset.

The individual will be key in fostering productive relationships with consultants, municipal staff and key stakeholders.


QUALITIES:


Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead and facilitate work flows of consultants, trades and construction managers through the entire project life cycle from design development to occupancy
• Review and monitor architectural and engineering plans, requests for information, schedules
• Review, troubleshoot and optimize building design and layouts
• Liaise with city staff and key stakeholders to secure necessary approvals
• Develop and refine construction budgets and schedules
• Establish, review and monitor project budget and cash flow
• Work with finance in regards to reviewing and issuing invoicing
• Manage and organize project documentation

SKILLS:

• Ability to manage and collaborate with a team to lead projects on time and in budget
• Excellent knowledge and interest in architecture, interior design and urban planning trends locally and globally
• Working knowledge of local municipal planning and development guidelines and policies
• Strong interpersonal as well as written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and decisive skills
• Effective graphics and data skills (Excel, Powerpoint, PDF markups)
• Demonstrated success in delivering mixed use residential, retail and commercial developments

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• University or college degree in Architecture
• At least 5 years of experience in the Vancouver real estate industry and/or highrise design and construction

COMPENSATION:

Compensation to be commensurate with experience.


Salary:
From $80,000.00 per year

• Monday to Friday
