Electrification, Automation,and Digitalization (EAD) projects is looking for a Project Manager to supportour varied project portfolio, with a focus on Service, Marine, Fiber, Offshoreand Onshore projects.


The Project Manager (PM)is expected to be a conscientious self-starter who will have the primaryresponsibility for the commercial and technical implementation of theproject.

The EAD's goal is to completeprojects with a satisfied customer, on-time and on-budget. The PM will lead ateam of various technical and industry engineers to implement the project. This will include development and oversightof scheduling, budgets, risk management, change management, and resourcemanagement activities. The PM is expected to cultivate strong working clientrelationships as well as internal team building.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • The PMrepresents the company as the main point of contact for the customer, SE internationalmanufacturing facilities, vendors / subcontractors, and site trades. This includes communicating in a professionalmanner both verbally and in writing
  • Understandthe contract deliverables and develop necessary schedule and plans fordelivering them.
  • Followingthe Project Excellence directives for managing projects to ensure adherence totime, design and budget including project progress billing schedule
  • Maintainproject RAIL's, Change Orders and Request for Information Logs
  • Evaluatingand dispositioning project risks to minimize exposure to Siemens Energy
  • Developcohesive and effective project teams (typically 8 people) while working ina matrix organization across the Americas. May have multiple projects running simultaneously
  • Support ofproject proposal efforts. This includesidentifying deliverables and commercial issues by reviewing RFP / contractspecifications and working with the engineering team on a costeffectiveexecution model

What You Bring

  • BS/BEin Electrical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent required
  • Minimumtwo years as a Project Manager in a Service, Marine, Fiber Oil & Gasindustrial environment (ex. power infrastructure, drives/motors, processautomation)
  • Industryknowledge in Marine, Oil & Gas Pipeline Applications, and Process RelatedIndustries and Applications.
  • Travelapproximately 25% as required for projects
  • Mustbe proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Project
  • Mustbe able to discuss project financials
  • Beable to discuss confrontational issues (ex. claims, delays, etc) with customer.
  • Excellent/strongskills in: networking and collaboration, organizational, customer focus, strongcommunication skills, Customer First attitude, negotiation skills with focus on"Win
  • Win", Strategic view and solid experiences in the service arena
  • Experiencein Electrical Engineering projects, specifically in the areas of LV & MV powerdistribution (SWGR, MDB, MCC, PDB, TXF) and protection, control systems,rotating equipment controls, substations and electrical ehouse designs.
