THE ROLE


The help desk technician (Summer Student) is a full-time temporary position reporting to the sAssociate Director, information systems & solutions.


The help desk technician will:

  • Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
  • Writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware.
- providing technical assistance for questions and problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions and pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential environment and use discretion when dealing with sensitive employee matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective at building relationships and able to work well with colleagues and key foundation and hospital stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy environment managing multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.

CANADA SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:


  • Placement is full time only (35 hours per week) for a maximum of 12 weeks
  • Placement must occur between April 25, 2023 and September 2, 202
