This position would report to the Western Canada Maintenance Supply Chain Leader and will be required to work a flexible work schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Shares responsibility with Maintenance SCL / Department Manager for the success of the job planning function.
  • Manages Planning information in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Responsible for accuracy of parts information, shares responsibility for ordering parts, materials, determining inventory levels and expediting parts when necessary.
  • Prepares a "Work Order Information Folder" for each job to complete the Planning Process
  • Maintains the accuracy of the "Planning Status" of Work Orders.
  • Responsible for updating new parts manuals, operating manuals, drawings and files in CMMS per the work order folder.
  • Shares responsibility with function leaders for coordinating with Production Planning on equipment availability.
  • Shares responsibility for conducting inventory audits and cycle counts to monitor and verify inventory levels.
  • Shares responsibility for ordering and receiving parts/materials, inspecting parts upon receipt, and cataloguing/generating parts numbers.
  • Shares responsibility maintaining accuracy of parts information.
  • Shares responsibility with the Maintenance SCL / Department Manager to determine level of job planning, coordinate manpower, and work schedules required.
  • Shares responsibility for contractor procurement and pre job site work permits.
  • Ownership of area organization/cleanliness and storage for increased efficiencies.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Completing Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Food Safety Pre-Requisite Programs (PRP/oPRP) that is required for the applicable area.

Qualifications

  • 23 experience in a Maintenance Planner role or similar
  • Experience with automated office and inventory control systems
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is considered an asset
  • Trades ticket is considered an asset
