As the
Manufacturing Project Manager, you will oversee the strategic plans for the successful commercialization and ongoing post-transfer support of our client's products
_(Medical Devices)._ The Manufacturing Project Manager will manage the client relationships and own the product's performance, costs, and timelines to deliver the complete product experience and ensure client satisfaction.


You have the ability to foster and build relationships, actively listen, solicit critical information and respond to technical engineering requirements and client feedback.

In this role, you will focus on bringing together StarFish and all its departments, including our clients and vendors, to ensure timely and successful product launches, seamless low to medium-volume production, ongoing engineering changes and cost-reduction activities through the commercialization process.

The Manufacturing Project Manager will be responsible for motivating diverse, cross-functional teams in a creative and collaborative consulting environment.

This opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement from our Toronto, ON or Victoria, BC offices.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.


Locations
Toronto, Ontario or Victoria, BC Offices.


Base salary range is between
$89, $118,816.50 CAD. Annual variable compensation tied to goal completion targets 3-8% of the base salary. Employees are also eligible.

What You'll Be Doing:


  • Work closely with project sponsors, senior managers, team members, and vendors to ensure that schedules are met and budgets are controlled.
  • Serve as clients' primary point of contact, fostering trustbased solid relationships.
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction by ensuring the customer experience meets or exceeds StarFish standards.
  • Establish a deep understanding of the client's strategic direction and work to align and support all activities required for our client's success.
  • Lead and coordinate project activities, working toward milestones ensuring alignment with project plans and goals.
  • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, including Product Development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Production, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain a focus on quality throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal quality control processes.
  • Plan and coordinate client deliverables and product shipments with the Manufacturing team.
  • Oversee all product improvements aligned with customer needs, such as cost reduction, reliability improvements, product quality improvements, obsolescence, regulatory changes, and other design enhancements.
  • Single point of contact for customers with respect to adjudicating change requests, including jigs & fixtures, manufacturing equipment, DHR updates, shipments, NCRs, deviations and RMAs.
  • Ensure sustaining and design change control activities are quoted accurately and completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversight of the design transfer process from product development to manufacturing engineering, including launch gates.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
  • Develop, negotiate, and execute supply agreements with our clients.
  • Responsible for project health and financial reporting, including ownership of BOM costing and quoting.
