This project is a multi-year initiative titled "Transforming Workplace Systems to Build Sustainable Capacity for Inclusion of Diverse Youth," funded by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS). Administered through the University of Toronto's Centre for Industrial Relations & Human Resources (CIRHR), this project aims to build employer capacity for barrier-free, disability-inclusive workplaces,

Under the general guidance of the Project Manager, plays a key role in supporting YESS initiatives as Special Events Coordinator & Content Writer. This position plans events conceptualizes event themes manages logistics liaises with vendors stakeholders promotes programs across print web social media platforms develops strategic communications creates original content writes news feature stories produces marketing materials maintains event calendars website updates implements social media campaigns ensures alignment branding communication objectives requires organizational writing interpersonal skills deliver high-quality events advance research priorities responsibilities include conceptualizing special events determining logistical details promoting programming writing background briefings facilitating educational workshops conducting photography videography shoots researching recommending story ideas maintaining event calendars coordinating website updates implementing social media campaigns ensuring alignment branding communication objectives
