Toronto Office is looking for a talented
Proposal and Asset Coordinator **to join our team.

They will be seeking a position with a dynamic range of opportunities to develop marketing, communication, and business development skills, implementing creative approaches to designing promotional material that leverages the firm's portfolio and values, and distinguishes and strengthens its profile through increased critical exposure.

They will possess a commitment to client service, nurturing the culture of our practice internally and reaching out to diverse audiences with consistent messaging.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as marketing coordinator/proposal writer in the A/E/C (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry.
  • Postsecondary, preferably with an emphasis in Marketing and/or Business Administration.
  • Graphic design capabilities, information design, typographic, layout, desktop publishing, print production and assembly experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator on PC platform.
  • Personable and collaborative working style with good listening skills and a commitment to positive stakeholder management.
  • Experience bidding on publicsector and private sector pursuits and opportunities.
  • Ability to effectively deliver quality work with a sense of urgency and a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize own work schedule. Able to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Proposal selection/ response and business development initiatives, primarily within the Canadian market.
  • Collaborate with the Firm Principals to produce high quality competitive proposals in response to formal requests for proposals (RFPs) outlining deliverables, writing, editing, graphics, in house print production, coordinate with senior staff and external consultants
  • Plan and execute RFP/Q responses, liaise with, and instruct team participants to deliver information and data for proposals to each potential project's unique requirements and timelines.
  • Maintain/ produce regular tracking and reporting status for future, current in progress and completed opportunities, including follow up debriefs.
  • Source, prepare and execute award responses
  • Administer search of relevant bid sites for potential opportunities
  • Maintains firm's marketing library (project sheets and CVs)
  • Designs graphics for proposal submissions (plans, schedules, charts and diagrams)
  • Coordinates with Marketing and Graphics Coordinator and assists for graphic components of firm's promotional online presence when needed
  • Assists principals and/or architects with editing and proof reading for text content of RFP submissions, publishing opportunities
  • Coordinates with Marketing and Graphics Coordinator and assists in maintaining/updating project sheets and CVs for promotional use when needed
