Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man - Home Renovator to work as a Subcontractor.

As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of residential homes.

This is a paid position with immediate availability.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing windows, doors, glass, screens etc.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any issues or potential hazards
  • Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed
  • Repair or replace damaged components, such as doors, windows, glass, etc.
  • Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

  • Proven 2 year experience as a Handy Man or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients

Skills:


  • Carpentry: Experience in basic carpentry tasks such as framing, installing cabinets, or repairing furniture.
  • Plumbing: Knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe installation, leak detection, and fixture repairs is a plus.
  • Problemsolving: Ability to identify issues and find practical solutions in a timely manner.
  • Time management: Effective prioritization skills to complete tasks within given deadlines.

Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
$25.00 per hour


Expected hours:

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
