    Description
    *Report to*: Regional Head of Western Canada

    *Employment Type*: 6-month contract/Full-time permanent

    *Job Description:

    • Business Development & Daily Operations
    • Proactively seek new high-value prospective clients locally and globally. Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to grow sustainable business volume and revenues in line with assigned KPI performance targets.
    • Handle daily operations of loan transactions, including drawdowns, repayment, repricing, and conversion, ensuring the safety and accurate utilization of funds.
    • Initiate credit proposals for clients' credit facilities and conduct timely evaluations of financial and operating risks to ensure compliance with approved terms and conditions.
    • Manage document filing for Business Division Calgary, both in hard copy and system e-files. Assist in uploading e-files into the Bank's Imaging System and ensure safekeeping as needed.
    • Internal Control
    • Adhere to regulatory control standards and identify/manage risks associated with client relationships, including credit risk, operational risk, and financial crime risk.
    • Conduct Business Relationship Risk Assessments (BRRA) and regular reviews to ensure compliance with AML/ATF compliance controls.
    • Maintain compliance with the Bank's Policies and Procedures in various lines of daily work.
    • Handle the first level of customer complaint resolution process if any complaints are received.
    • Ensure timely and accurate update and maintenance of client information and business records on all systems and shared drives.
    • Administration
    • Perform various tasks assigned by the Regional Head of Western Canada.
    *Qualification
    • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Banking. A Master's degree is considered an asset.
    • Minimum of 1 year of related banking experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit Adjudication, and/or Credit Underwriting.
    • Proficient oral and written communication, reporting, and presentation skills in English. Proficiency in Chinese is considered an asset.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Additional certifications such as CFA, CA, CPA, MBA, or CDCS are considered assets.
