    The Electric Administration Department has an opening for an Electric AM/FM Programmer Technologist.

    Electric AM/FM Programmer Technologist
    (One (1) Year – Term Position)

    The Electric Administration Department has an opening for an Electric AM/FM Programmer Technologist.

    WAGE: $39.88 / per hour(Candidates who do not meet the full requirements of the role may be considered at a developmental rate of pay until full proficiency in the role has been obtained.)

    STATUS: One (1) Year Term -37.5 hours weekly

    The Electric AM/FM Programmer Technologist is responsible for applying technical expertise and functional support of the Electric ArcFM system (Electric, Fibre, Transmission Systems, Work Flow and Communication Management) by delivering top quality services and utilizing specialized knowledge and skills. Specific duties include coordination of ArcFM and GPS data, providing instruction and technical support to users in the use of ESRI products and in house developed tools, auditing ArcFM data and connectivity of the electric network against work orders, development and maintenance of solutions using ESRI Collector and Survey 123, development and maintenance of web maps and analyzing the Electric GIS system using ESRI software tools.

    Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, GIS or Geography from a recognized institution and two to three years of relevant Electric Utility experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience with ESRI network extensions, ArcSDE, portal, Utility Network, Collector, Survey 123 and ArcFM and MS SQL is required. Knowledge of Python, HTML, .Net, Java, C++, XML, JSON programming languages would be a definite asset.
