Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Addiction Rehab Toronto Inc.

About the Role:

This is a permanent opportunity for an individual who is physically fit, enjoys working outdoors, and has excellent interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in our health care institution. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting and upholstery, and making beds and changing sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Requirements:

• Physical demands of this role include bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• High school diploma or equivalent not required; willingness to train provided
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctuality and reliability essential

Benefits:

• Competitive salary range $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience
• Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
