Fundamentals Childcare Centre is looking for a few Early Childhood Educators to join our team in various positions We are looking for outgoing passionate educators that have the ability to lead a group of children alongside already great teams Flexible thinking and the ability to laugh and have fun is an absolute must

We are looking for the right fit for our teams in our
Multiage classrooms in Maple Ridge Multiage classrooms can have a maximum group size of 8 children ages 12 months -5 years old.

Requirements:

Provide outstanding care and supervision of children ages 12 months to 5 years
Collaborate, develop and execute age appropriate programming to foster children's cognitive, physical, emotional and social development
Ability to use age appropriate techniques/strategies in guiding behaviour
Assess abilities and observe children for signs of potential developmental or behaviour challenges.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardian and community services
Effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding a child's day
Ability to work in a team environment with a collaborative approach but also the ability to work independently
Follow licensing requirements and maintain a clean and safe environment that protects the health and wellbeing of children
Flexible thinking, creative approaches and ability to think on your feet.

Qualifications:

Early Childhood Educator License to Practice is required (Infant and Toddler or SN training/certification is considered an asset)
Knowledge of age appropriate childhood development and Early Childhood education practices and principles.
Experience with various strategies and techniques for guiding children
Excellent communication skills
13 years' experience working with children ages 12 months to 5 years
Valid First Aid Certification
Clean Criminal Record Check
References
