    Job PurposeResponsibilities*
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while maintaining contractual service levels
  • Function as a team leader on project assignments, as required
  • Utilize your experience, and knowledge for customer documentation development
  • Perform hardware warranty, and nonwarranty repairs of desktops, notebooks, servers and printers
  • Execute complex moves, adds and changes of computer equipment
  • Complete complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment
  • Perform network connections for desktops and printers
  • Support, and service customers with POS, Switches, Routers and Wi-Fi
  • Maintain major vendor certifications (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.) as well as Comptia A+ certifications
  • Participate in after hours oncall rotation
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurance.
  • Must be able to pass Security Clearance check
  • High School Diploma, along with A+ Certification is required.
  • 3 years of related experience and education in a relevant program of study from an accredited institution, as well as experience with current operating systems
  • Experience with Tier 1 vendors (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.)
  • Experience with POS, Servers, Switches, Routers and Wi-Fi
  • Experience with current Operating Systems
  • Experience with determining, and resolving problems with laser printers (major vendors) is preferred
  • Experience in diagnosing, documenting, and troubleshooting issues spanning multiple technologies
  • Strong time management skills with proven sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments
  • Strong English written, and verbal communication skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Ability to take direction, and follow practices and procedures, consistently and accurately
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Bilingualism is an asset

Working Conditions

  • Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Entitled to a 30minute unpaid lunch break
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs independently
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and out of town
  • May be required to work overtime, with paid compensation based on local Employment Standards Act
  • Travel to client sites, with the ability to travel long distances, when required
  • Frequently assigned to new tasks to adjust to changing priorities
