OPERATIONS MANAGER - PERMANENT FULL-TIME

Addiction Services Central Ontario is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual for the position of
Operations Manager**. This position is a leadership position, reporting to the Executive Director and will work closely with the Senior Management Team and other agency leadership to manage and improve the efficiency of the agency's operations, support the Joint Health & Safety Committee, and be responsible for integrating and streamlining our agency operational needs.


About the Opportunity
This is a Permanent Full-time position, for 35 hours per week. Evening and weekend work may also be required. The starting salary for the position is $85,000.


This position will be located at our head office in Aurora, and the incumbent will be expected to travel to other ASCO offices within our geographical service area within York Region, North York and South Simcoe.

This position will assist ASCO in maximizing cross-functional collaboration, facilities and productivity, and, with a high level of autonomy, will take an active role in decision support/analysis and enhancing the day-to-day operations and administration of the agency.

This position will also be responsible for supporting facilities, reception as needed, finance and IT in its work.


ASCO is required to follow all public health and provincial directives as well as of those of our Ontario Health Team partners as related to the pandemic and other health issues that may come forward, including but not limited to vaccination requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Operations:


  • Ensure the smooth operations of all agency sites, including the main office in Aurora and satellite offices including, but not limited to, liaising with landlord representatives, as needed, and ensuring cleaning services are contracted, as required
  • Collaborate with the senior management team in the implementation and monitoring of the agency risk management plan
  • Support the Finance Supervisor in the daytoday management of the finance department
  • Support the Finance Lead and the Executive Director in responding to funder requests and reports in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison with the agency's insurance company and ensure that the agency maintains appropriate insurance coverage for all of its sites, programs and services and ensures that the required followup is completed in a timely manner
  • Work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities, including various cost analysis
  • Collaborate in the preparation of reports and briefs to the Board of Directors, as requested
  • Collaborate with the agency leadership team in the development and implementation of policies, protocols, guidelines, and procedures
  • Actively support the adherence to accreditation standards

  • Solicit RFPs and review proposals received

Decision Support:


  • Provide research and analysis to help management identify options and implement solutions to business or operational problems
  • Produce detailed information reports by gathering and analyzing data, and organizing existing quantitative analyses
  • Tracking of KPIs and make recommendations on how to address any concerns
  • Update management on decision support findings on a regular basis and identify potential opportunities to facilitate organizational improvement and success
  • Support the active participation of the agency in collaborative decision support initiatives, e.g., within the OHT model

Facilities Administration:


  • Oversee, maintain, and ensure the smooth and efficient day to day operatio
