Pet Planet is seeking a
Retail Pet Ambassador to work in the
Pet Planet Richmond Place location.


Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discover the customer's needs
• Recommend, select and help locate the right merchandise
• Describe a product's features and benefits
• Answer customer queries regarding the store and the merchandise
• Make suggestions and encourage purchase of products
• Receive and process cash, debit and credit payments including counting money, sort charge slips and balance monies
• Place special orders
• Stay current with product knowledge
• Recognize and monitor security issues
• Arrange and display merchandise
• Keep merchandise area and the store neat and tidy
• Daily admin duties, as required.

Experience

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to read and operate a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
• Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
