responsibilities
Manage all phases of a furniture project including planning, design, construction coordination, installation, punch list resolution and occupancy-activation.
essential duties
- Create staffing plan and manage project team members, to ensure seamless project delivery and execution.
- Confirm project criteria. Ensure all project participants understand project goals, assumptions and constraints.
- Identify impacts to furniture schedule, adjust to changing conditions, and communicate to all team members including client.
- Lead, manage, and hold team accountable for project work and ensure deliverables meet project milestones and kimiko quality standards.
- Provide superior client service and advocate for client in all phases.
- Manage and represent the client throughout installation including overseeing multiple vendors, punch lists and detailed communications.
- Oversee the review of furniture installation plans for conformance to specifications' brand standards.
- Prepare meeting minutes, create status reports, update tracking reports and maintain project files.
- Accurately estimate and track actual professional hours for yourself, kimiko project team and its consultants.
- This position requires up to 50% travel and onsite work.
- Must have strong written, verbal and visual communication skills
education + experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Highly organized with strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Pay commensurate with experience.

From $42.00 per hour
