Essential Club Manager in Training duties:

The Club Manager in Training will be accountable leading a team of employees in a positive, motivating manner with continuous influence in employee training and development.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Driving a positive culture through the commitment, communication of, and adherence to our Core Values, and ensure an ongoing commitment to the Judgement Free Zone (JFZ).-
  • Ensuring a consistent focus on quality communication and interactions, clean and organized clubs, and superb customer service throughout the club.
  • Ensuring safety of employees, members, and club property.
  • Consistently and constantly demonstrate a desire to be a team player.
  • Promoting/maintaining consistent accountability and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Handling all front desk activities, including:
  • Answering phones in a friendly manner; assisting callers with a variety of questions.
  • Checking members into the system.
  • Signing up new members.
  • Taking prospective members on club tours.
  • Cleaning tasks; bathrooms, locker rooms, Black Card area, workout area, etc.
  • Responding to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high performing staff.
  • Ensuring repair and maintenance of both the facility and equipment to brand standards.
  • Tracking, achieving, and maintaining all key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Elevating concerns to the CM and RM as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:


  • Serviceoriented and able to resolve member concerns.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and must be 18 years of age or older. 12 years of experience in leading teams.
  • Initiative and strong communication skills.
  • Great organizational, relationship building and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness and aptitude to move into a CM role within 3 months.

Physical Requirements- Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift. Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift. Must be able to occasionally lift over 50 pounds.- Will encounter cleaning chemicals.
