Excavator Operator - Langley, Canada - Greystone Excavating

Description

Greystone Excavating Ltd. located in the Lower Mainland, is currently looking for experienced excavator operators.

The position entails all aspects of excavating in the residential and apartment construction field, therefore applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience with:

• Operating excavators size 50-300
• Reading plans
• Setting laser levels
• Bulk excavation and loading trucks
• Managing trucks that are hauling materials in/out of the site
• Backfills
• Final grades
• Shoveling tracks
• Machine maintenance (Greasing)

Please note:
*A complete understanding of industry standard safe working procedures is required and expected

*Use of a hard hat, hi-vis vest, steel-toed boots are mandatory

Applicants must possess the following attributes:

• Positive, polite, organized, and patient
• Works well in a fast paced environment
• Common sense and the ability to problem solve
• Comfortable with some paperwork
• Proficeint in written and spoken English language

Extended medical and dental available after 3 months probation period.

RRSP matching and vehicle allowance also available.
