    In your role, you will

  • Coordinate, support and execute all Configuration Management deliverables and activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This includes: Engineering Configuration Statement (ECS) preparation, Audits of CM data for major Suppliers, CM reviews related to Design Change Proposals (DCP),etc.
  • Contribute to the Configuration Management Knowledge domain.
  • Support engineering initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiencies by introducing novel approaches to configuration management for sustaining and development programs.
  • Represent the Configuration Management team in various cross-functional meetings and working sessions.
  • Present CM topics to any level of the organization including upper management.
  • Accountable to build Configuration Management Plans for new aircraft development programs.
  • Develop Config Management Policies and Procedures for Bombardier and identify and/or drive process improvements.
  • As our ideal candidate

  • You have deep knowledge of CM activities within the Bombardier system and on various platforms and how they are applied with respect to the Product Definition at Bombardier.
  • You have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in the aircraft configuration management field.
  • You have expert level understanding of Airframe configuration management and control and have developed multiple aircraft level Configuration Management Plans
  • You have strong understanding of civil aircraft certification rules and experience in certification procedures.
  • You are highly motivated with a proven ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. You are a leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently.
    A college diploma and CMII certification would be considered an asset
