We are looking for a Financial Analyst II to augment our finance team.

As a member of the finance team reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all areas of financial recording, and financial statement preparation.

Here's How:


  • You will help ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables associated with our regular business cycles, such as month/quarter/yearend activities and annual planning
  • You will help with monthend related duties, including reconcilement of invoices and payments with vendor, reviewing incurred costs and prepare monthend accruals, preparing reclassification journal entries, assisting with variance analysis and various reporting, ensuring financial information for our department is accurate at the end of every month
  • You will actively seek out and implement process improvement opportunities within the departmental operations
  • You will juggle tasks supporting broad organizational priorities. You are not shy to roll up your sleeves and help wherever you are needed. No task is beneath you
  • You will build strong relationships, liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:


Required Experience/Skillset:


  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • You are able to gather and interpret data, turning it into insights and recommendations, using data to guide and support your daytoday work is second nature to you
  • You pay close attention to details; small mistakes don't generally slip by you because you are thorough and check your work
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • You possess an eye for process improvement and optimization. You naturally devise ways in which work can be done more efficiently and effectively, and can help implement those changes
  • You have solid overall operations knowledge
  • You generally understand the mechanics of how a business runs and the core operations processes involved
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google G-Suite
  • You have a solid command of Excel and can tackle complex formulas (aka not just pivot tables and vlookups)
  • Able to work well in a crossfunctional team environment maintaining interdepartmental respect, sensitivity to all perspectives and information
  • Accounting Designation (CPA) or working towards one
  • Experience in Health care related company considered an asset
  • French and English (7/10 for either) an asset
