Job summary
The Specialty Infusion Nurse is responsible for administering specialty medications via IV infusion, injection, or oral routes to patients in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer specialty biologic and pharmaceutical therapies in a clinic environment including IV infusions SC/IM injections and oral medications in accordance with program protocols and product monographs.
- Conduct thorough pre-treatment assessments and ongoing monitoring during and after infusions to ensure patient safety and comfort.
