Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for efficient and effective customer service at the rental counter.

This position performs sales transactions, purchasing and assists in servicing equipment, provides and bridges the technical support from the customer to the shop, and performs a variety of administrative functions.


Job Description:


  • Promote visits to the branch by outbound calls and being active through regular customer interactions.
  • Handle all walkin traffic and customer inquiries for new, used, and rental equipment sales.
  • As a CSR you will own the life cycle of the order.
  • When receiving an inbound inquiry where the customer requests a site visit, the CSR will engage the customer with an Outside Sales rep who takes ownership of the sale.
  • You will conduct outbound calls from a list of accounts and leads generated by the Business Intelligence team to find rental opportunities.
  • You will work with the staff at the branch and locations within the larger Finning rental network to ensure customers are supported through our branch network.

Education & Experience:

  • Journeyperson Electrical Certification is an asset but not a requirement. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Equipment rental industry experience is considered an asset.
  • 2+ years of customer interaction experience is required.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Able to work under Tight timelines, deadlines, and repetitive tasks while keeping safety a top priority
  • This is not a shiftbased position.
