Wesbell is seeking a Freight Claims/Administration person to provide support to our organisation.
This position will report to our Safety Manager and work collaboratively with the Safety Administration Supervisor. We offer a full benefits package after your probation period. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Managing all aspects of freight claims
  • Collaborating with various teams within the organization to mitigate claims
  • Sending out Final Releases to customers
  • Requesting payment from our Accounting Team
  • Creating Driver/Truck/Trailer files
  • Booking maintenance to be performed on various pieces of equipment in Western Canada
  • Scheduling various meetings with drivers
  • Scanning documents
  • Overseeing the ELD's and ensuring our drivers are within their allotted Hours of Service
  • Hold a position on our Joint Health & Safety Committee
  • Any other tasks required from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum High school graduate
  • Possess strong customer service background and communication skills
  • Proficient in excel
  • Proficient in Word
  • Able to multitask
  • Organized
  • Track activity, create reports and provide recommendations
  • Work well in a team environment and independently
  • Knowledge of the Transportation Industry and asset

Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
