Min. Secondary(high) school graduation certificate


Experience:

Minimum 1-2 years of related experience as a cook


Main duties/Specific skills:

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Set up and oversee buffets
• Clean kitchen and work area
• Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs
• Specialize in preparing and cooking east Indian ethnic cuisine or special dishes.

Additional skills:

• Establish work schedules, supervise staff
• Hire and train or arrange for the training of sales staff
