Matrix is hiring a Certified Rigger for an exciting, long-term job in Halifax, NS. We offer additional overtime and wage parity for this position.
This position also offers weekends off to allow for work/life balance. The Riggers will be working indoors in a controlled environment. The pay rate has increased to $42.99/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving
Select gear such as cables, pulleyes, and winches, according to load weights and sizes using chain fall and other equipment
Tilt, dip and turn suspending loads to maneuver over, under, or around obstacles.
Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material.

Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in Canada
A preemployment physical is required
A background check completed by employer

Qualifications:

Experience in Rigging
Successfully completed Rigging Training Courses
