    Behind every efficient production, there is always well-orchestrated planning.This is exactly the role the Supply and Planning Coordinator will play at our client, a manufacturing company in Laval. Responsible for coordinating purchases, inventory, and production planning, you will work closely with sales, production, and customer service to ensure operational continuity and meeting deadlines.

    Tasks

    • Manage supplies and place supplier orders.
    • Monitor inventory, analyze needs, and prevent stockouts or surpluses.
    • Coordinate the receipt of components and production schedules.
    • Collaborate with sales, production, and customer service for planning.
    • Follow up with suppliers (pricing, timelines, compliance).
    • Create and manage SKUs in the ERP system (SAGE 50).
    • Optimize inventory levels (min/max) and storage space.
    • Identify operational issues and suggest improvements.
    • Manage logistics: transportation, shipping, deliveries, and exports.
    • Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal partners.
    • Perform any other related tasks.

    Job requirements

    • DEP or DEC in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong knowledge of ERP software and office tools (Excel, Outlook).
    • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Team player, autonomous, and strong communication skills.
    • Assets: Experience in metal or furniture manufacturing, knowledge of purchasing practices, inventory management, and industrial production, familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing processes.
