Job Description:

Ensure well-functioning WHM & overarching WH Control System:

-
Support DC operations:

-
Monitor system functionality and new system functionality developments, incl.


interfaces WMS, WCS and PLC:

-
Communicate change requests from end users to Regional Sales & Ops
-
Maximize operational excellence, quality and efficiency by educating end users in the IT system functionality:


  • Distribute & translate release notes and inform/ ensure training of users in the new functionality of a release
-
Ensure all systems work as expected and are used correctly to aspire best service to the stores and to secure that business is not interrupted
-
Ensure an effective and efficient incident management, when needed (e.g. participate in "bridge calls", Incident reporting)

Ensure high quality level of all decided IT system related procedures and correct implementation:


  • Ensure training of end users (training conducted by Advanced Users, if exist) in the departments in new systems and functionalities:
-
Align release waves and system down time with key stake holders, i.e. DC management, sales etc.
-
Ensure training of team leaders on any basic new functionality


Qualifications:


  • 12 years system management or department level logistics management experience preferred
  • Preferably at least one year in Distribution Center Operations in a high volume, high SKU replenish and pick environment

Strong expertise in DC-level technology infrastructure, WMS, WCS and supplementing systems experience:


  • Functional competencies for supporting technology and system-related operations and incidents

Proactivity in problem-solving and hands-on attitude to resolving incidents:


  • Ability to understand system features and updates within a given time frame as well as ability for knowledge transfer
