JOB SUMMARY:

This is a leadership position, which supervises all aspects of the production of automotive parts (Quality, Maintenance, etc).

Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate and schedule activities of the Production Associates.
Contribute to the establishment of improved methods to meet work schedules.
Prepare production and other reports as required.
Keep attendance reports and timesheets updated daily.
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Ensure completion of proper training for Associates in their required job duties, work instructions, safety procedures, and ensure that Associates comply with company policies and procedures.
Report accurate and timely information to the Production Manager, and or department heads.
Provide input and assist in developing the elimination of waste and spoilage through Kaizen, 5's and Continuous Improvement projects.
Responsible for safety and good housekeeping in the various workstations.
Perform any other task as required by your Manager from time to time.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

Postsecondary education in a related field and/or three or more years' experience as a Production Supervisor.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001(responsibilities, processes, etc)
Good working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Sodecia policies and standards for safe work
Must be familiar with computer systems including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to work flexible hours from time to time to meet internal/external customer requirements.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in Quality, Program Launch and Supervisory requirements within stamping/assembly environment
Completion of Quality related courses and/or internal auditing is a definite asset.
Excellent attendance record required and proven performance record
Previous experience related to the specifics of the present posting including the required skill and ability

Salary:
$60,000.00-$62,500.00 per year
