    Our Brampton location is presently looking for Associate, Private Label Salaes and Marketing (One year contract)

    Job purpose

    Reporting to the Associate-Director, Private Label, this role coordinates, co-manages and actively participates in the daily functions of the Private Label division. Working closely with the Private Label Manager, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with internal departments such as Art, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs and Quality. Using strong project management and interpersonal skills, the ideal candidate will assist with customer requirements and project-specific activities such as artwork, project setup, inventory reports, sales review and data management in customer web portals.

    Duties and responsibilities

    Department Support

  • Assist in managing the Private Label product portfolio, supporting reliable product supply, and exceptional customer support
  • Create business reports on product and customer performance
  • Maintain a detailed product database including packaging, label requirements and pricing
  • Assist Product Manager in the development and execution of all product strategies.
  • Supply Management:

  • Prepare and provide customer inventory reports meeting customer criteria and timelines
  • Review short-dated products, supporting strategies to minimize product write-offs
  • Generate SAP reports as required in support of customer business reviews, budgeting purposes and business planning
  • Participate in monthly Private Label forecasting meetings with Supply Planner
  • Customer Support

  • Support the creation of customer action plans and business review presentations
  • Assist pricing strategies by conducting customer pricing surveys and data analysis
  • Support customers by supplying product samples, required materials and ad-hoc requests
  • Manage and input data in customer web portals such as The Hive, The Hub, LCL Vendor Portal, LCL Packaging Portal, Retail Link
  • Product Launches:

  • Coordinate all stages of an artwork project from start to completion
  • Fill out customer forms required to launching products: new product profile, specifications, GS1 data entry
  • Manager the phase-in/phase-out of new/old components, coordinate first production run samples, fill out wholesaler forms
  • Qualifications

  • College or University degree required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a Sales and Marketing support role
  • Minimum of 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry an asset
  • Ability to work as part of a team, but equally adept working independently
  • Ability to build on and maintain good cross-functional relationships
  • Creative, self-motivated, independent thinker, and strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Strong computer skills (Advanced Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with SAP and art management software and asset
  • Experience with customers an asset
  • French language an asset
