Your daily role:
Under the responsibility of the quality assurance director, the holder of the position will have under his supervision, the quality assurance technicians of the production plant.
While being responsible for the proper functioning of the department, he will have to implement action plans, promote continuous improvement, manage communications and monitor the department's performance indicators while working in close collaboration with all departments.
from the factory, in compliance with current quality and safety standards.- Supervise the allocation of statuses and grades for the production department, manage detentions and nonconformities related to production batches;
- Carry out supervision of employees under your responsibility and participate in staffing and reception activities (recruitment, integration, evaluation);
- Ensure the proper functioning of the laboratory according to deadlines;
- Coordinate and actively participate in the training of factory employees on work procedures and good manufacturing practices (internal procedures, GMP, HACCP, task training, etc.);
- Monitor performance indicators, communicate them and develop corrective action plans in the event of nonconformities while collaborating with other departments in order to maintain the integrity and food safety of products;
- Maintain food safety and quality compliance, ensure preparation for internal and external audits, interact with inspectors and regulatory authorities and follow up on corrective action requests in collaboration with different departments;
- Carry out updates to programs/procedures/work instructions in line with current regulations, check, validate and audit the documentation of the various programs (HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, WHMIS, BIO etc.), carry out the monitoring of nonconformities with the various departments concerned.
- Carry out monitoring and investigation of complaints for production.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at work, participate in various inspections and the development of action plans and ensure their monitoring;
- Monitor the cleanliness and sanitation of the establishment, audit the cleaning and sanitation process of the factory in accordance with established procedures.
Your profile

Training in process technology and food quality, dietetics or equivalent;:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in personnel management;:
Knowledge of HACCP, GFSI, GMP, BIO etc. standards.

Leadership, interpersonal relations and communication skills, rigor, organization and autonomy;:
Proficiency in French, functional English, Spanish an asset;:
