Business Systems Analyst - Vancouver, Canada - ITC Construction Group
Description
Reporting to the Information and Systems Manager, the Business Systems Analyst will manage/assist in systems implementation initiatives in the company, provide user support, maintain system data and security, and perform other system-related functions within the company.
Technical Competency
- Lead/Assist in the upgrade of existing ERP system and implementation of new systems projects Full integrated cycle.
- Work closely with Information and Systems Manager to ensure that all deliverables are delivered successfully and on time
- Display a high level of knowledge and consistent service throughout all interactions with users
- Effectively complete all required project activities on time, on budget and of the highest quality
- Collaborate with various business groups to identify, analyze, and document best process practices
- Develop flowcharts to enable detailed understanding of business flows
- Analyse various business processes to improve efficiencies. Change managementhow to approve workflows, remove redundancies.
- Facilitate or assist on the implementation, deployment and other project activities supporting the rollout of initiatives
- Provide technical expertise by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with existing and new systems
- Follow up and escalate issues and enhancements identified throughout the project
- Provide appropriate software documentation
- Design, facilitate and conduct training for users on existing and new systems
- Develop forms, queries, logs, dashboards, and reports per business user requirements
- Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and timetables for design, testing, data conversion and user training
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings in order to deliver services and enable the transfer of skills to ITC users
- Create, in conjunction with business users, detailed scenarios and test cases for user acceptance testing based on business processes and requirements
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Perform other systemsrelated duties that the Information and Systems Manager may assign
Qualifications
- Completion of postsecondary education from a recognized college/university with specialization in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Familiarity with project management and systems implementation methodologies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, management, and technical skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Minimum five (5) years implementation/IT experience in a consulting or construction environment. Job costing and financial background is ideal.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to work in a team environment with local and remote teams
- Knowledge of business processes particularly in the construction industry is an asset
- SQL Programming experience is an asset
- Experience in data analytics, system design & technical programming is an asset
- Ideally with previous experience with CMiC, Procore or similar ERP systems such as SAP, ORACLE, JDE, MS Office.

Salary:
$70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
