Responsibilities:

Perform steam cleaning, carpet/floor cleaning and drying duties

Determine the right chemical solution for cleaning. Appropriately use soap, water, and chemicals as needed

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of power tools, such as a steam cleaning equipment

Maintain stock of cleaning chemicals

Moving furniture as necessary for cleaning purposes

Perform on call duties for emergencies such as flooding or pipe burst when required

Identify condition of carpets, floors and notify management of any visible repairs needed

Other relevant duties as assigned by Regional Manager

Qualifications and Requirements

Must have experience in carpet cleaning/steam cleaning and general cleaning job

Previous experience in cleaning within a restoration (floods, disaster recovery, etc.) will be an asset

Physical fitness and stamina for cleanup work

High attention to detail and quality standards

Familiar with and able to operate steam cleaning/ carpet cleaning equipment

Knowledge of PPE and safe work practices. Adhere to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment

Must possess a valid driver's license

Must successfully complete a security clearance

Flexible to work 5 days a week, emergency on-call as needed
