Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing


In support of our clients under our Wood Gundy, Investor Services Inc, and Prime Brokerage Services business lines, the incumbent will participate in various operational activities which include but are not limited to Margin Calls, Loan Adjudication, Wire Payments, Regulatory and Internal Reporting.

The role will require routine professional engagement with clients, traders, front office partners, regulators, senior leaders and other support staff.

How You'll Succeed- Attention to detail with good analytical skills: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that all Margin Calls are met and our clients' risk exposure is managed accordingly.

Ensure that all internal and regulatory rules are adhered to, and loan approvals are confirmed within the specified SLAs. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines: Operate and collaborate with multiple business partners, ensuring all Margin Calls are met and all Regulatory Reporting deadlines are adhered to.

Ensure all daily operational activities are settled prior to end of business and serve as first level escalation for all internal and client facing functions.- Industry Knowledge & Education: Previous experience in Capital Markets & Wealth Management Operations, with an understanding of Margin Lending and IIROC Regulatory Reporting as well as Rule 100.- Technical Skillset: Ability to analyze and process data quickly and efficiently with a strong technical and analytical mindset.

Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.
