Location:

Responsibilities:

Pipe Installation: Assist in the installation of various types of pipes, including sewer, water, and drainage pipes, according to project specifications and blueprints.

Trenching and Excavation: Dig trenches, excavate soil, and prepare the ground for pipe installation using hand tools, machinery, and equipment.

Pipe Fitting: Assist in cutting, fitting, and joining pipes, fittings, and couplings using appropriate tools and techniques.

Backfilling and Compaction: Backfill trenches with soil, gravel, or other materials, and compact them using compactors or manual methods to ensure stability and support.

Assist Crew Members: Work closely with crew members, including pipe fitters, equipment operators, and supervisors, to ensure efficient and safe work practices.

Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport pipes, fittings, and other materials to and from the work site using trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pipe laying or construction labourer roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and carrying heavy objects, in various weather conditions and environments.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety practices.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the work site.
Pay:
From $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
