Accounting Assistant - Edmonton, Canada - Innovation Physical Therapy
Description
Innovation Physical Therapy is seeking an Accounting Assistant who is self-motivated and a positive individual to join our team.
This is a unique role to Innovation Physical Therapy, where you'll be working closely with the Business Controller and Director; for multiple clinics.
This role is heavily accounting data entry based with some operations and inventory tasks; experience with intercompany transactions would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
Intercompany transfers - tracking, billing and scanning documentation
Accounts payable - cheques, credit cards, online transfers - input into QuickBooks
Accounts receivable - input into QuickBooks
Income confirmation and reconciliations
AR reporting and follow up as needed
Manage multiple working papers and trackers
Assist with audits and year end
Preparing and filing ROEs
Assisting the Director and Business Controller as needed
Electronic document management
Other tasks as required
Skills and Requirements:
Accounting experience of 1 year would be an asset
Intercompany transactions experience would be an asset
Experience with multiple subsidiaries
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong computer and Microsoft excel skills
Extremely high levels of confidentiality is required
Entry to intermediate level understanding of accounting processes
High attention to detail
Excellent time management skills are necessary
Ability to work alone for long periods of time
Ability to travel to our 4 different clinics as needed
Working Hours:
In office work at 876 Webber Greens Drive clinic.
