Job Introduction
Dechra is an international specialist veterinary pharmaceuticals products business. Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, sales and marketing of high quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide.


The Dechra Business Support Analyst will support/manage both our Sales platform and Direct sales accounts, along with special projects as required.

Our sales platform is Salesforce.

They will be required to analyze, and report sales with an on-going process to track, measure and summarize performance of Dechra Canada sales efforts relative to stated objectives and goals.

They will engage in data quality and systems administration activities related to ongoing operational, analysis and reporting needs.


Our Direct Sales portfolio is growing and as such they will be responsible for managing and processing orders on a timely basis.

This is an external customer facing responsibility which requires great communication skills both in French and English.


The BA will report to the Commercial Operations manager and will work closely with the National Sales Manager and Marketing Manager to understand and meet data collection/analysis objectives.

This role is an internal position located at the Head Office in Pointe Claire Quebec.


The Business Support Analyst will be proactive in their efforts and will possess the quantitative abilities to understand and analyze large amounts of data, technical aptitude to take on basic system/data administration tasks and the communication skills to summarize data and provide actionable insights for commercial management.

Il est alors nécessaire d'analyser et de préparer le rapport des ventes qui permet de faire un suivi continu, de mesurer la performance et de résumer les efforts de ventes en les comparant avec les objectifs de ventes fixés.

Il faudra recueillir des données sur la qualité et les activités de nos systèmes de gestion selon les besoins en matière d'opérations d'analyse et de rapport.


Le BA apporte un soutien au directeur des opérations commerciales et travaille de étroitement avec le directeur national des ventes et le directeur marketing pour comprendre et atteindre les objectifs en matière de collecte et d'analyse des données.

Ce poste interne est effectué au siège social situé à Pointe-Claire, au Québec.


L'analyste du soutien commercial est proactif dans ses démarches et possède les habiletés quantitatives permettant la compréhension et l'analyse d'un grand volume de données, les aptitudes techniques pour accomplir les tâches associées à la gestion des données et des systèmes de bases, ainsi que les capacités communicationnelles pour résumer les données et fournir des pistes de solutions concrètes au l'équipe de gestion commerciale.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create/update dashboards monthly/ quarterly to meet the lineofsight objectives around sales activities and financial results. These include monthly sales reports, corporate rebate reports and others.
  • Translate business requirements from National Sales Manager and Marketing Manager into actionable target lists for Sales Teams and Marketing campaigns.
  • Consult on and promote data policies and procedures designed to ensure the ongoing quality, completeness and integrity of Account and Contact data; communicate SOPs and best practices to applicable SFDC contributors and reinforce importance of policies/procedures as necessary.
  • Champion SFDC and related reporting systems; educate and assist users with daytoday system related tasks and reporting needs in order to foster/maintain strong overall adoption.
  • Document new processes in clear and concise manner using appropriate tools and disseminate information as appropriate.
  • Assist end users with troubleshooting SFDC related issues, providing solutions and training as necessary.
  • Update and maintain the Training Manual for users.
  • Investigate and recommend new features/functionality based on an indepth understanding of business needs and our user base.
  • Review and disseminate information about Salesforce scheduled releases as appropriate and where there is a potential impact to our user base.
  • Provide sales data files when required and ensure uploads are done in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the integrity of the data and troubleshoot with Buying Groups any issues to quickly resolve the problem.
