General Carpenter - Property Restoration

PURE Restoration is a full spectrum disaster restoration and reconstruction company providing comprehensive service to residential and commercial customers, property management companies and the insurance industry. We are currently seeking a full time General Carpenter to start immediately.

Job Responsibilities and Duties include:

Remove plaster, drywall or paneling and assist with blanket insulation and installation of vapour barrier.
Ability to read scope of work to determine method of installation, work procedures, materials and tool requirements.
Ability to measure and install drywall panels to accommodate electrical outlets, airconditioning units and plumbing.
Ability to manage multiple construction projects and sites and work oncall for afterhours emergency work.
Working knowledge of drywalling, taping, texturing and painting.
Working knowledge of rough and finish carpentry.
Demonstrates the safe operation of shop tools and all other tools required for onsite construction.
Follows all health and safety policies and procedures and adheres to company standards at customer sites.
Maintains good housekeeping discipline on the job to ensure a safe, noncluttered workplace to minimize cross contamination.
Ensures quality control targets and timelines are met or exceeded.
Maintains professional and service focused approach with property owner, occupants of the property, coworkers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications Required:

Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings or other structures.
Ability to solve basic arithmetic problems quickly and accurately.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Minimum 2 years' experience and proven track record in restoration or related industry.

Pay:
From $27.00 per hour
