Description

We are looking for an experienced UCP or equivalent to begin immediately.

Training and experience as an UCP (Unregulated Care Provider) in medication administration and being in charge in a Retirement Home in Canada is required.

Must be available for all shifts including nightshift and a minimum of every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Medication administration training and or administration experience in a Retirement Home.

Familiar with PCC (Point Click Care)

Able to work all shifts and a minimum of every other weekend.

Empathy and understanding of the elderly.

A high degree of tolerance and patience.

Excellent understanding and communication skills in English, reading, oral and written.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, walk stairs and ability to transfer residents.

Able to work well as a team member and with mínimal supervision.

Critical thinking and ability to be in charge and manage emergency situations (site specific training given) when management not in the facility.

$18.30-$19.79 per hour

Schedule:

Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Morning shift
Night shift
Weekends as needed

Do you have a car or reliable transportation? Buses often do not run to and from Thorold at the required times to accommodate the times of our shifts so you cannot rely on public transportation for this position.
