What you'll do

  • The PCM Program Manager, Controls will oversee a team that supports Lines and Stations, project and program work in
the Program and Contract Management (PCM) team, in project and program management standards, controls and tools.

  • Lead the planning, promotion, implementation, and sustainment of PCM project and program management standards,
controls, and tools, as well as any related business initiatives.

  • Develop, promote, and maintain the strategic roadmap for continually building upon and enhancing PCM project and
program management standards, controls, and tools.

  • Work closely and collaborate with PCM portfolio leadership teams to create and maintain alignment on a vision and
operating model that invests in the appropriate centralized standards, controls and tools which have broad applicability and
benefit across PCM, while reserving portfolio specific discretion to address unique project and program delivery
requirements.

  • Implement processes to ensure that project and program management practices adhere to established standards and

  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with other partnering business groups such as Finance, Technology, and
Supply Chain. Effectively engage partners as required to support PCM project and program management initiatives relating
to standards, controls, and tools.

  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with other project delivery groups within BC Hydro, facilitating and encouraging

What you bring

  • University degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Human Resources and
Sciences.

  • 10 or more years of experience in project or program management.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is considered
