Associated Fire Safety Group Inc, being a large contributor to the supply and maintenance of firefighting equipment in Western Canada, is looking for a new member to join the team.

The role of Administrative Assistant will be performing multiple duties within our purchasing department


What You'll Do:


  • Provide outstanding, consistent, and detail oriented administrative assistance to the organization.
  • Assist in the development of internal systems to ensure we remain at the forefront of efficiency at all times
  • Aid in any and all aspects of the internal workings of the business to ensure manpower is where it is needed
  • Maintain familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the fire market
  • Assist with customer service to ensure every customer's expectations are not only met but exceeded.
  • Represent company at trade shows and events when needed
  • Other duties as needed

The Experience You'll Need:


  • A passion for building strong business relationships with both via phone and in person
  • 25+ years of administrative/purchasing experience. Entry level will be accepted dependent on applicant
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, and high degree of ownership and accountability for achieving results
  • Highly articulate communicator with both verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize tasks/opportunities in order to optimize daily productivity
  • Digitally savvy; strong proficiency with MS Office/Google Drive, Quickbooks and the Internet as a research tool

Salary:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour
