    Description

    The Electrician is a member of Teamsters Union Local 213 and works under the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement between Sun-Rype Products and Teamsters Union Local 213.

    Job advantages

    Key activities

    • Repair, maintain and install electrical equipment and electrical wiring in accordance with standard electrical principles and practices.
    • Meet the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code.

    Required training and experience

    • Fully qualified Industrial Electrician.
    • Previous experience working on transformers, electric motors, electrical control and industrial electronics.
    • Trade Qualification Certificate issued by the BC Ministry of Labour or an Interprovincial Certificate.

    Skills sought

    • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written (essential).

    Specifics of the position:

    • Ability to work day, afternoon & graveyard shifts.
    • This is attendance sensitive position.
    • This is a safety-sensitive position.
