Look no further Mamele'awt Qweesome Housing Society (MQHS) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant in our Mission Head Office location.


Position Overview
As our Administrative Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of MQHS.

With a unique blend of financial acumen and creative prowess, you'll handle a variety of administrative tasks while infusing your innovative touch into our projects.

This role is ideal for someone with at least two years of financial work experience, particularly in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, who also possesses a passion for creativity to design website content and tenant information pamphlets, flyers, and posters.


Flexible Schedule
This is a part-time position, offering 20 to 24 hours per week.

We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why you'll have the flexibility to create your own schedule within our office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilize your creative skills to design visually captivating content using WordPress and Adobe Illustrator
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement creative solutions to organizational challenges.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of Administrative Assistance experience
  • Minimum of twoyear financial work experience with a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience using WordPress and Adobe Illustrator, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics considered a bonus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for supporting Indigenous communities and promoting affordable housing initiatives.
