THE OPPORTUNITY

Eco-Counter is seeking a dynamic
Client Consultant
to accelerate growth and client adoption across North America. This role blends strategic business development with consultative client engagement. It's ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, shaping go-to-market strategies, and delivering real impact through client-centric solutions. You'll be instrumental in expanding Eco-Counter's presence, uncovering new opportunities, and strengthening partnerships throughout public and private sectors.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Grow Eco-Counter's Presence in the U.S. & Canada

·       Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the United States and Canada.

·       Build and nurture relationships with public agencies, parks, transportation departments, consultants, and other stakeholders.

·       Navigate long-cycle, consultative public-sector sales processes with confidence.

·       Lead proactive outreach and engagement, including cold calls, targeted outreach campaigns, and tailored business pitches.

·       Qualify, prioritize, and evolve opportunities through the sales funnel with strategic follow-up and CRM pipeline discipline.

Advise Clients & Deliver Value

·       Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients toward appropriate data solutions that support their planning, reporting, and decision-making needs.

·       Confidently demonstrate Eco-Counter's software platform and product offerings, translating technical features into measurable client value.

·       Provide consultative support throughout procurement and deployment phases.

Support Go-To-Market & Increase Visibility

·       Represent Eco-Counter at industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other public-facing events to broaden market visibility.

·       Gather market insights and deliver strategic feedback to internal teams.

·       Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to strengthen cross-functional coordination and shared goals.

·       Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and sales collateral.

CRM & Pipeline Management

·       Maintain accurate account and opportunity records in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).

·       Leverage CRM data to support forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education & Experience

·       University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, planning, transportation, environmental sciences).

·       
3–5+ years' experience
in business development, sales, or consulting

·       Experience working with public agencies and multi-stakeholder environments.

Skills & Abilities

·       Excellent communicator in English; French fluency strongly preferred.

·       Ability to understand, explain, and demonstrate technical concepts clearly and effectively.

·       Strong relationship-building skills with an orientation toward long-term partnerships.

·       Strategic thinker with proactive, opportunity-focused engagement.

·       Comfortable using CRM tools and maintaining pipeline rigor.

Interest & Attributes

·       Passion for active transportation, sustainability, and outdoor recreation.

·       Willingness and ability to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada (~4–8 times/year).

L'OPPORTUNITÉ

Ce rôle combine le développement stratégique des affaires et une approche-conseil auprès des clients. Il convient parfaitement à une personne qui aime bâtir des relations, élaborer des stratégies de mise en marché et générer un impact concret grâce à des solutions centrées sur les besoins des clients.

Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l'expansion de la présence d'Eco-Compteur, l'identification de nouvelles occasions d'affaires dans les secteurs public et privé.

VOS RESPONSABILITÉS

Développer la présence d'Eco-Counter aux États-Unis et au Canada

  • Identifier et développer de façon proactive de nouvelles occasions d'affaires aux États-Unis et au Canada.
  • Établir et entretenir des relations avec des agences publiques, des gestionnaires de parcs, des services de transport, des firmes-conseils et d'autres parties prenantes.
  • Naviguer avec assurance dans des processus de vente consultative à long cycle, notamment dans le secteur public.
  • Mener des démarches de prospection proactive (appels à froid, campagnes ciblées, présentations personnalisées).
  • Qualifier, prioriser et faire progresser les opportunités dans l'entonnoir de vente grâce à des suivis stratégiques et une gestion rigoureuse du pipeline dans le CRM.

Conseiller les clients et créer de la valeur

  • Agir à titre de conseiller(ère) de confiance en orientant les clients vers des solutions de données adaptées à leurs besoins en planification, en reddition de comptes et en prise de décision.
  • Présenter avec assurance la plateforme logicielle et les produits d'Eco-Counter, en traduisant les caractéristiques techniques en valeur mesurable pour les clients.
  • Offrir un accompagnement-conseil tout au long des phases d'approvisionnement et de déploiement.

Soutenir la mise en marché et accroître la visibilité

·       Représenter Eco-Counter lors de conférences, salons professionnels, webinaires et autres événements publics afin d'accroître la visibilité sur le marché.

·       Recueillir des informations stratégiques sur le marché et transmettre des rétroactions aux équipes internes.

·       Collaborer avec les équipes des ventes, du marketing, des produits et du succès client afin de renforcer la coordination interfonctionnelle et l'atteinte d'objectifs communs.

·       Élaborer des propositions, des présentations et du matériel de vente convaincants.

Gestion du CRM et du pipeline

  • Maintenir des dossiers exacts des comptes et des opportunités dans Salesforce (ou un CRM équivalent).
  • Exploiter les données du CRM pour soutenir les prévisions, les rapports et la prise de décision stratégique.

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

Formation et expérience

  • Diplôme universitaire dans un domaine pertinent (p. ex. administration des affaires, urbanisme, transport, sciences de l'environnement).
  • 3 à 5 ans ou plus d'expérience en développement des affaires, en vente ou en consultation.
  • Expérience de travail avec des organismes publics et dans des environnements impliquant de multiples parties prenantes.

Compétences et aptitudes

·       Excellente communication en anglais; la maîtrise du français est fortement souhaitée.

·       Capacité à comprendre, expliquer et démontrer des concepts techniques de façon claire et efficace.

·       Solides compétences en développement de relations vers des partenariats à long terme.

·       Aisance avec les outils CRM et gestion rigoureuse du pipeline.
