The Position:

Neelands is searching for a Project Manager, Sheet Metal Construction to join our team in Burlington, Ontario. This role will report into the Senior Manager, HVAC Construction.

Responsibilities:

Managing construction jobs across southwestern Ontario
Assisting in managing HVAC installation projects
Preparing various types of proposals
Managing teams for commercial and light industrial facilities installations, renovations, and design builds installations, renovations, and design builds
Preparing budget estimates and construction costs for mechanical requirements
Ensuring timely delivery of services, materials, and equipment
Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the project
Preparing specifications and technical reports
Tracking and maintaining detailed files for sitespecific activities
Issuing purchase orders and ordering of equipment

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in the HVAC Commercial industry (preferably as a 308A Mechanic)
Working knowledge of HVAC Construction, sheet metal, refrigeration, and electrical Installation
Expertise in construction codes applicable to mechanical building systems
Microsoft office suite is considered an asset
Proficiency with technical writing is considered an asset
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an asset
