This training program is supported by advanced and cutting-edge software, stationary and full motion simulators, four fleets of aircraft, a dedicated aerodrome, and support facilities. The G120A Grob for Phase I and II training, the King Air C-90B for Phase III Multi-Engine training and the Bell 206 Jet Ranger and the Bell 412 for Phase IV training make up our impressive fleet of aircraft.


JOB OVERVIEW


The Multi Engine (ME) Instructor reports to the Chief Multi Engine Instructor (CMI) and is responsible for the provision of Flying Training Device (FTD) and classroom instruction for the King Air C90B.

This requires effective instructional technique, both in group and in one on one interaction with students, and professional communication with staff and military colleagues.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Provide instruction to ME student on the C90B King Air to include:
  • Task Orientated Simulation Training (TOST) on an Integrated Procedures Trainer (IPT)
  • TOST and Mission Oriented Simulation Training (MOST) on a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) and
  • Maintain aircraft captaincy on the King Air C90B
  • Conduct aircraft test or ferry flights in support of the Maintenance Manager
  • Support simulator technicians as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Support FFS test flights as part of the Transport Canada recertification process
  • Conduct instruction on the C90B FFS and IPT for 3rd party users
  • Be prepared to work outside normal business hours when required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating
  • TC Class 3 Instructor Rating or higher
  • Minimum 50 hours ME experience (noncenterline thrust)
  • Valid passport and driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Works and Government Services Enhanced Reliability Clearance
