IP Enforcement Paralegal / Brand Protection Assistant

Overview

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented
IP Enforcement Paralegal / General Assistant to help protect our brand and products across major online platforms.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in
intellectual property enforcement—especially handling DMCA takedowns, trademark, or copyright matters—and enjoys maintaining organized records while coordinating with legal counsel.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of our brand protection initiatives, collaborate with our attorneys, and improve internal IP tracking systems and processes.

***### Key Responsibilities


Intellectual Property Enforcement & Legal Coordination

• Prepare, submit, and track DMCA takedown notices across major marketplaces and social media platforms (Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Alibaba, TikTok, etc.).
• Manage and track infringement reports filed with online platforms, hosting providers, and partner organizations.
• Maintain detailed records of infringing listings, accounts, and counterfeit products using organized logs and databases.
• Support legal filings or claims by organizing and comparing evidence documentation.
• Communicate and coordinate with Englishspeaking legal teams to assist with claims, responses, and followup actions.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely followthrough on all enforcement actions.

Investigations, Research, and Monitoring

• Identify and document unauthorized use of our brand or products across ecommerce platforms and social media.
• Gather and organize evidence (screenshots, links, seller information, timestamps, etc.) following proper documentation standards.
• Conduct research to identify repeat offenders or related accounts using available online tools and methods.
• Stay up to date on new IP enforcement tools, reporting systems, and workflow improvements.

Process Development & Workflow Management

• Help design templates, checklists, and documentation standards for enforcement workflows.
• Collaborate with the internal team to improve tracking systems in ClickUp or similar project management tools.
• Generate regular reports summarizing enforcement activities, case progress, and market trends.
• Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IP protection efforts.

Administrative & Coordination Support

• Assist with administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, record keeping, and scheduling.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys, vendors, and team members.
• Maintain an organized digital filing system within Google Workspace.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

***### Required Qualifications

• Proven paralegal experience, ideally in intellectual property, copyright, or trademark law.
• Experience preparing or filing DMCA takedown notices or IP infringement submissions.
• Strong understanding of how infringing content is identified, documented, and reported for removal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English.
• Skilled at maintaining organized logs, records, or evidence documentation.
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) and/or Microsoft Office.
• Ability to selfmanage priorities and meet deadlines independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
