Key Responsibilities:

Provides technical manufacturing expertise to cross functional partners
Manage developments in collaboration with PD team to ensure they meet design vision, margin/cost parameters established by Merchants.
Manage deliverables based on critical path to ensure all stakeholders adhere to dates; Responsible for managing calendar timelines and order placement.
Responsible for managing & executing all sourcing initiatives.
Allocate seasonal vendor developments matching with factory's manufacturing & technical expertise based on their machine capabilities.
Drive vendor placement strategy based on product intent, line plan and business needs.
Act as the liaison between internal partners and factories for all concerns & inquiries
Assist in the process of onboarding new vendors in collaboration with Loblaws social compliance partners.
Negotiate cost with vendors and ensure financial targets are met.
Develop best in class partnerships with our strategic suppliers.
Identify & maintain vendor network that support the needs of assigned categories
Manage vendor facing communication related to sourcing activities and factory management.

Planning & Forecasting

Ensure adherence to JF monthly/quarterly/annual capacity requirement at factories to meet PO delivery dates.
Maintain broad knowledge of worldwide market trends on assigned commodities.
Leverage market intelligence and analyze to identify opportunities and risks.
Creates a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages authentic and transparent contribution.
Represent Sourcing in cross functional team meetings
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Skills:

University Degree or relevant College Diploma is required
7 + years of experience in sourcing, procurement, product development and/or combination of these in apparel & soft goods industry within North America.
2 + years of managerial experiences is required
Familiarity with apparel /têxtile production process, materials, and cost components in a lean manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing processes/machine setup's & technical aspects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc.
Ability to multitask, attention to detail, excellent organizational and problemsolving skills
Strong analytical skills, effective time management and communication skills
