Job description

Responsibilities

  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential customer by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads to provide quotes.
  • Handle all sales opportunities up to contract negotiations and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Monitor and stay up to date with industry and market trends.
  • Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure that we are looking after all their service work requirements.
  • Prepare customer quotes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive product knowledge and potential solutions to their needs.
  • Develop relationships and solid product knowledge for all our suppliers.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the company's products and or services.
  • Work closely with the Customer Care Team to ensure that all opportunities are handled seamlessly for the customer.
  • Followup with leads generated from other departments.
  • Pass leads to system sales specialists as required.
  • Complete required paperwork for new customers and new jobs in accordance with company policy
  • Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction with the purchases and to nurture ongoing relationships.
  • Update client information in the company contact database as required.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of CFLS's services and pricing structure.
  • Provide regular communication with the Director of Service Sales

Requirements:


  • Minimum 1+ years sales experience
  • Flexible and able to work with different sales personalities, techniques, and processes.
  • Knowledge of fire codes, building codes and fire protection standards is an
  • Experience working with a CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Selfmotivated and driven.
  • Basic knowledge of the Fire Protection Industry is and asset.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% within the Ottawa region only.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with preparing thorough quotes.
