Description

Job Summary:

You are an experienced Surveyor who has previously worked alongside crews within a heavy civil environment including concrete, and pipping.

Essential Responsibilities:

Complete field survey requests, measurements, setup and configuring survey instruments
Establish primary and secondary survey control
Interpret and extrapolate surveying data from construction and design drawings
Install survey stake lines and survey control monuments
Help prepare surveying notes, grade sheets, and calculate coordinates

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of field Surveying experience
Completed diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Experience with civil construction, piping and concrete are all assets
Experience with GPS systems and Total Station are an asset
Motivated, selfstarter who can work well independently and within a team environment
Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
Must be able to successfully pass preemployment drug and alcohol testing along with a criminal background check

Work Conditions

Applicants who reside locally will be given preference due to the location of this project
14/7 shift schedule, working 12 hours per day
Travel allowances provided
Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
