About the job:

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Account Manager to join us in Toronto, Canada.

In this role, you will promote sales in your assigned account (Rogers Communications), ensure customer satisfaction, and manage booking numbers.

You'll develop and maintain relationships within this account and sell Red Hat solutions while working with our system integrator (SI) partners.

You will gain an understanding of their technical and business challenges.

As an Enterprise Sales Account Manager, you will collaborate with this account to discover new opportunities, use previous solutions as blueprints for future success, and build relationships with C-level executives to ease the technological decision-making.


What you will do:

Sell the complete Red Hat portfolio of solutions within assigned account

Promote our Red Hat value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market; develop new accounts and expand existing ones

Manage complex sales cycle from prospecting to closing, maintaining sustainable revenue across technologies

Understand the customer's business, technical requirements, and industry challenges

Work collaboratively with solutions architects, overlay structures, and inside sales representatives

Create strategic plans in collaboration with cross-functional team members and deliver on those

Accurately forecast and close sales in accordance with company goals


What you will bring:

10+ years of experience selling complex network and IT solutions to communications service providers (CSP) through multiple decision-makers

Understanding of mobile, cable and IP networks, OSS/BSS, voice and video solutions, and CSP IT

Experience selling in both direct and partner sales models

Ability to articulate comprehensive technological strategies to a wide range of decision-makers within an organization, including technical, business, and C-level audiences

Proven record of meeting sales quotas

Excellent communication and technical skills to develop relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout customer organizations

The salary range for this position is 266, ,000 CAD OTE (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
